Inspiramental Blog
True South At Fair

My wife Robin and I started Inspiramental Company because we were hopeful that renewable energy might be part of the solution for a happier, cleaner, and more resilient way of life.  Life has a million curves but in them all there are basic needs, water, food, clothes, a place to sleep at night, a place to work, and a way to get there.  A place or a program to teach our children the best ways to find, water, food, clothes, a place to sleep at night, a place to work, and a way to get there.

Robin and I think that civilization has become counterproductive when mountains have to be leveled, filling over 700 miles of stream beds, in order to fuel the machine that supposedly provides a better way of acquiring water, food, clothes, a place to sleep at night, a place to work, and a way to get there, along with all the other luxuries such as friends, and time and place to spend with them.

So, in order to be actively involved in the change we believe is necessary, if not inevitable, we researched renewable energy and zeroed in on solar energy systems integration.  Many solar energy systems are expensive and require quite a commitment and a lot of sacrifices to acquire.  Not all solar energy systems are high dollar though, solar electric is the most expensive.  Less costly systems include solar water heating, solar air heating, natural light design/skylights, and solar ovens.

We advocate for the reducing our energy appetites, turning off lights, careful selection and use of appliances and generally consuming less electricity/coal, and other fuels.  The next major subject that I’m planning to study is where electric gets away – some houses demand two, or even four times the electric than other houses with similar appliances and usage patterns.
